Lullaby

What leaves may fall,
what tunnels window fare
The sheet we use
for propping mirrors
paired

One knot to tie
the sweeping sky
and tall
With wings to carry
circles, feathers, all

Askance aside
Now nestled
pillow blush

And oh,
you look a picture
lying there

You always manage to make your lines dance. I like it!

Perfectly lovely... the first three stanzas communicate such a grand vision, followed by those wry last lines.

Gorgeous, Scrybe. The rhythm ripples like a stream and the images are precise and thoughtful. I love "pillow blush."
