It's an image that fits BP much better than their current green-washed logo.
My last comment doesn't seem to be showing up, so I'll try it again...This is a much more fitting image for BP than their current green-washed logo.
Now it's showing up twice, but it bears repeating :D.
Thomas, this would be a very representive BP logo. Well put, Francis! I agree completely. And it sure bears repating. :)
This could have been avoided if not cash had gone before safety. This is a very strong persuasive painting
powerful!love that small clearing in the smoky sky... with a few birds flying by...will there be hope? or that part too will be covered with smoke soon?it's just one of the many things greed is doing... at least there have been some voices to protest...greed is the symptom of power-seeking minds... in my land a genocide is taking place... and many in the world are silent... busy with business talks!!!seems some people's catastrophe is some other's trophy!
A moving image, Thomas. I think it's the horizon that has the greatest impact on me. It goes on and on just as the greed that caused such a mess seems to be boundless.human being. Your words ring true. I am deeply sorry about what is happening in your country. Peace to you.
great comentary on a bunch of IDIOTS, sucking everything they can from who ever they can.....well done!(enviroment we dont need no stinkin enviroment)
Thanks everybody. I am not really the protesting type, but I am simply amazed at how the CEO of BP said it was not such a big deal. The sheer sociopathic mindset of these creeps just astounds me.Add to this, their impunity - just another day at the office... I can take my dog for a walk and if the dog has a poo, for some reason I have no means to clean it up and if the police sees this event I get slapped with a fine for pollution. Which is fair enough - my fault I fogot the doggie poo bag. My only motive was to take my dog for a walk because I love my dog and want all my pets to be happy. I am not motivated by greed. However, BP can create through their stupidity, greedy and bravado what is by all accounts, a volcano of crude oil gushing from the sea bed which has left nothing but misery and death and the bosses of this company will still collect their seven figure salary, and be still walking into Government offices all over the world and tell our so called elected official what laws to write which will help the oil industry. But I get a fine if my little dog takes a little dump in the street and I forget my poop bag. What! Somthing is just not right here.(sorry for the rant)

As one who works in the oil & gas industry, can I just say that this is just the surface of corruption and greed - these guys care about one thing only: how much money they can make per second.
