Love how you've hugged soul with our. Great shape to this piece.

A very nice airy poem. The vertical/horisontal read is good exercise for my myopic eyes. My contact lenses are no way near the crow's vision, I assume. :)

You make the choice seem easy, and so it should be. The form puts me in mind of a pendulum.

*** Kass...

thanks my friend... that part is my favorite part too... shaping is for showing more... glad you liked it...
a big HUG
:)

*** Jenny...

ah... thanks... you and your precious humor... but alas! neither the mood of this work nor the mood i am in now let me appreciate it fully.... it deserves a big hearty laugh!

surely our visions are different... but just different... comparison is a taboo for crows... nothing is better... nor worse... we are just different... and this is being human... the way we learn to know and respect and love our difference... is being human...

in the eye of crow there is no horizontal lines nor any vertical ones... all things are made of dots... our world is dot dot dot dot... with no borders... all things permeate... all things overlap... all things pass through each other...

crow sits on tip of the cyprus tree and sees me typing... answering my daughter's question... 'do you know where is the colderst place on earth?'
and i'm thinking about the words i want to utter...
at the same time crow sees another mother... looking through the window... she is thinking about her 5 children... and the first words she tried to teach them... 'us'... not just 'me'...

and they grew up and all the time they thought about 'us'... not just 'me'.... and they were hanged one by one... by those who were taught to think just of 'me'...

i see my daughter sitting at her desk... in front of me... but that mother doesn't know where her 5 children and her son-in-law are buried... he just looks through the window... and sees dot dot dot dot... and her heart throbs for every one of 'US'...

'the coldest place on earth is a heart that doesn't know about the magic of the word 'US'...' i answer...

*** Francis...

Hafez says:
love at first seemed so easy but then difficulties loomed...

our choices are the way of love... also the words we choose...

crows tend to see the future of any words before uttering them... no?

by each word i am changing the whole universe.... this is what i tell myself all the time...

;)

peace and love to you all

hb, I am deeply sorry to hear about the situation in your country. As there are many people from your part of the world living here in Uppsala, Sweden, I have heard many sad and scary real-life stories.

human being said...

thanks Jenny... a lot!
my pains are all universal... my country is just part of that UNIverse...

Thomas Sheridan said...

Well said HB. We are all the same nationality it is just that we have been told we are not. Culture is what really matters, but only if you share it. Good luck.

thanks Thomas!

yes! you are absolutely right!

sharing is all!
