Dutchman’s cold

Absorption against
the back wall cement
smells good
the Dutchman’s cold dynamite tells me
our bond strength is
so tight
walking around the caulking compound
smoking
it’s Monday morning
a mist is imminent

good poem i like the line lengths and the images feel nice, very dreamy...reading through some of the works on this site, i like and relate very well to a lot of the tendencies (i was a little confused at first, but now i see there are multiple poets).

Greatly crafted! Terse verse, you are so good at those, PO.

This poem makes me think of the part in Robbins' Even Cowgirls get the Blues where the author's inserted self decides to drop out. Comical section, btw.

Compact and strong. I like this a lot. Makes me think of the ash cloud and how it has grounded so many people. Something about the "bond" that forms between the stranded.
