lord humphrey had a pet white mouse and when he wasn't shooting grouse he whiled away the night and day engaging the rodent in repartee in the parlor of his ancient house
lets go sit in the park all day until it gets dark it it rains we won't care it's the answer to the flowers prayer and it won't even leave a mark
sister sophie, a modest young nun decided to soak up some sun when her discarded habit was eaten by a rabbit she cried 'i'll be a daughter of a gun!'
a temperance lady named june busted up the local saloon with her mighty truncheon she destroyed the free luncheon and the drunkards warm cocoon

all humans are the same all humans are insane they pretend to be civilized but that is just a bunch of lies as they walk in the devils rain
mary jones washed rich folks sheets and her daughter walked the streets and made more money in fifteen minutes than mary in her whole life - that's sad isn't it? listen to the rain as it beats

i'll never stop you... as i'll never stop the rain...
your songs are always new and fresh
as the songs of the rain...
you know how much i love rain... and the poems you have written on this theme has always made me crow nonstop!
this... these... are marvelous... each segment... each drop... or all together... the shower...
each is a corner of our soul... perhaps hidden and unexplored...
i never get tired of reading your works... they talk to my soul... so deeply...
i especially loved 'all humans...'
and... wow! the last one 'listen to the rain...'
it just killed me!
in my 'horror story' there is a rain episode... without rain i can never write anything...
:)
i was writing something to be sung by the narrator when it rains... now i come here and see this... and i tell myself, hey crow! this is it!
timmy... i put this beautiful segment in my story and link to you... i know it's like putting a pearl among some junk... but i simply fell in love with this... and cannot go on to write my own song...
and i know how kind and generous you are...
and
do you remember you had a questionnaire post on your blog a long while ago? that island theme?
i can live alone on an island for the rest of my life... provided that each day i receive one of your works in a sealed bottle... tossed on the shore... by the waves...
:D
be!
thanks once again, hb. yes, as always please feel free to use or link up to anything i do.
i am happy to see you can post at such length, on your own site and here and in comments. let's hope this situation continues!
I like how you marry the merry with the serious. The issues you bring up can never be over and done with, as they so often concern what is human.
"all humans are the same
all humans are insane
they pretend to be civilized
but that is just a bunch of lies
as they walk in the devils rain"
Yep.
Well done.
Thanks for sharing.
Yes. I love how you merge the grand and minute in one mesh. "All humans are the same," almost sounds like an accusation, or a relief. These days, it almost feels strange to read your out spoken critique. We're supposed to be happy just to be part of civilized society, many people say. Are we parts of an organism (the society), or just licking ass nowadays at a grander scale than before? :)
thanks to YOU, timmy... my dear friend...
i put up the post with your beautiful song...
http://dearteachercrow.blogspot.com/2010/04/horror-story-seventh-piece-and-seven-is.html
crowing at length... eh?
don't be surprised:
they hunted lots of birds
and caged even more
now they let other birds sing a bit
to
to
to
you can guess what for...
;)
such is the life of a crow... who cannot stop crowing...
:D
