I just love your work JB. Again, I cannot but help see the Francis Bacon influence, but I like your work better. You are superb at colour usage.

A powerful image indeed!. Though the choice of colors softens the impact, the message this piece is supposed to convey remains remarkably clear; it also directs my focus towards the anatomy of the figures portrayed. Good job!

Wow, neat. Really like the colours and the way there is movement and perception in the painting, wonder where the head is looking for. I am artfully uneducated - who is Bacon? I should wiki it up (amazing, how fast you can learn these days if you try), but I want someone to just tell me for once. I think I must really need coffee badly.

Really, really neat painting. Thanks for sharing the image. Totally sticks with me.

Thank You!
as I said, just to be mentioned in the same sentence with F.B. is an honor. But I must say that I belive that he had a few more demons that I, and I have enough!
thanks again

Zania...
thanks, yeah somtimes when I so these it can get a little dark, so I will lighten the work up a bit with softer colors, but I feel that most viewers will get the message reguardless of the color pallet.
good observation
thanks

thanks!
Francis was probably one of the most progressive painter of this century. he broke new ground with every series. and created many disturbing images.
He was one of my absolute favs!
and Thomas has honored me with a comparison (I blush)
yeah you should look him up
thanks

I aperciate your comment!!
somtimes I will use these type of color combination to throw off the viewer, but you have to see through the smoke to get to the meaning
thanks
