That is beautiful. Not an artist myself, but I love the way the colors blend together.

i like the mistiness (i think i just made that word up) of this piece...gouache is an interesting medium, i think about using it all the time but the look of gouache wasn't appropriate for the paintings i have done lately...or maybe i am just too lazy - acrylic is sooooooo easy to work with:)

Well done Thomas!

Thanks all. My apology Nikki I used white acrylic on this one as I wanted some body for the moon. I mislabeled it.

Beautifully textured!

Agree with N-68 about the 'mistness'. Groovy light. Some days I want paint (insert adjectives and verbs of choice to make sentence work - I can't decide). This piece makes me want (to paint to be painting to be near the painting to look longer at the painting to have the painting) want paint. Like it, would hang it up if I was rich and had large flat surfaces with room for paintings and money to give you.

Thanks for sharing this image - really very pleasant (what, watching? looking-at? I think I need coffee or something, I can't write today).

Interesting sea. I envy people who have the sea nearby. I live quite far away from it. I kind of imagine Ireland shaped by the sea and its movement.
