The scary thing is, they'd probably openly embrace that as their credo.

I agree with Francis. And they seem proud of it, as well. They are the same over here, almost at least.

the American left-

You got yours
now gimme it...

I've been a construction tradesman
(part-no, most of that AFL-CIO union) I worked up from nothin' to a comfy middle-class existence only to have it "redistributed"
by a billion dollar industry of fraud to illegal workers-cost me 300 grand, my house and my family's dignity. Now I'm back to the ghetto where I started.
Mi hermanos say "I wish I had a license to shoot every one of them c*********ers coming across the border". That's the real "Hispanic vote".
Want a taste of the reality of what the entitlement culture has done for this country? Come live in my 'hood for one week, we'll see if you can cut it.
Respectfully, upholding our constitution is not about left or right, it's just common sense, assuming your not enamored of all the double-talk rhetoric the powers that be espouse now.

Ahh-I see by the time zone you're on California time.
So, how's that workin' out for ya?

bandit - about the California time; not at all for me. I'm Swedish. There are people from all over the world writing at this forum. Your comment was interesting. It reflects aspects of a society I'm not used to.
I can't talk about American politics of course; but Sweden is usually considered "left".
And I don't think it's anything wrong with this; many people in Sweden think that the point of societies are, after all to help its members get stronger. We all benefit from this in the end, even if this means taxes.
