chain changes

Hard light
upon my eerie eyes
like welding
amortizes the body

abnormal time is here
the arrival rate is unacceptable
as soothing darkness flee

a commander
staring at the destruction of
his forces

Fear not
you say
there are always places
to go

chain changes

I see the humorous sides of this one.

Hmm, I think that sun needs the shadows and vice versa. ;)

I really like the line "abnormal time is here" and there's always cause to worry when someone says "fear not" :)

liked the change in the end of this chain of bleak images you portrayed impressively...

and the sound of chain is heard distinctively here...

Thanks people.

I will probably be a bit absent for a while now, until shooting darkness creeps back into the world.
Thanks Jenny, for your tip on buzz to use sunglasses. I use it a lot. It helps much. You are a person who has both the sun and its shadows in you. As for myself, I am shadow and the interstellar quiet darkness between suns.

And work has become all consuming, alas ;).

Hmm PO, is it possible to be a silhouette without having a sun which casts your shadow? :)

Fine poem;

"Fear not
you say
there are always places
to go"

Let's hope this is the case here.

Yes, Ande. You can have shadow without having a sun. I’m certain of it. In the same sense as light from dead suns casts shadows for a while before their very quarks are overcome by disorder and forever blown out into the calm quietness which people call “nothing” or “vacuum”. Same shit, really.

Thanks for your comment, btw.
