Smoldering piece, hb. Like an fresh incantation. The smell of it and the project you have started!

incantation...
thanks Jenny... a lot!
i should confess that selfishly i was waiting to hear such a word...
:)

this is the second step of the project... a sort of a healing ceremony... through poetry...

to tell you the truth i never liked participating in rituals and ceremonies... anything repetitious and imitative... without any effort to understand the reason and cause behind... kills my soul... but i love decoding their symbolism to understand life... and soul of the man... and myself...

the true ritual and healing occurs in mind... and poetry is a sublime medium...
hope i use it in a way that benefits man and his world...

love to you dear soulful Jenny...

I agree with you and I do not like to participate in rituals or ceremonies, either. As you say, they are repetitious and imitative.

To me your poem is like a dynamic kind of incantation (without the regular repetition associated with the incantation genre) because of the suggestive tone. It is forever changing. The very opposite of routine. I am impressed by your writing style.

Thank you for your generousness!

A flaming piece. I admire the visual result.

This is a crow(n)ing achievement. I like the shimmer of it. My understanding of ritual is that through it we try to make present again that which was. It may be a vain pursuit, but there's value in it if it lets us stand outside time for the purpose of reflection and understanding. And healing.

Jenny...
thanks my dear freind... your words mean a lot to me...
ever-changing... ah... if i could achieve that element, then i should say i'm overjoyed...

Ande...
thanks my dear friend... happy i could rebuilt the fire that burns in all beautiful soul like you...

Francis...
thanks for the sparlkling words, my dear friend... the crow feels a crown atop!
:)
think your understand of the ritual is so true and beautiful... standing outside time... to reflect... yes!
but what i see happening is not much of this experience... perhaps one should find his/her own personal ritual... eh?
for me it's writing... and reading... and walking...
:)

love and peace to you all

I've never seen such a deft sculpture of words. It's really awe-inspiring.

wow... Claude!
you made me so proud of my work...

your words mean a lot to me...

one of the things i like to do with words is forming them into visual forms...
